East Agile Tracker brings the rigor of eXtreme Programming to a planning tool built for the world we actually live in: one where AI agents work alongside people on the same backlog, in the same iteration, under the same audit trail.
What it’s for
Section titled “What it’s for”You ship software in iterations. You estimate stories in points. You watch your velocity settle, and you plan the next iteration with what the team can actually do. East Agile Tracker is opinionated about all of that — and then it adds something most planning tools haven’t: agents as named teammates, with their own role, their own story ownership, and their own honest audit trail.

Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- Stories that flow — features and bugs through Unstarted → Started → Finished → Delivered → Accepted; chores go Unstarted → Started → Accepted, and releases Unstarted → Accepted. Bugs and chores carry zero points unless the project turns on Points for bugs and chores.
- Iterations that plan themselves — set your length and velocity strategy; with auto-plan on, the system fills the current iteration to your velocity. Upcoming iterations are projected on the Backlog, never stored.
- A board that respects iteration time-sequence — Current, Backlog, Icebox, and Done in iteration order, not status partitions, plus My Work, Blocked, Epics, and Archived presets and saved searches. Cards show their state; the order tells you what gets worked next.
- Agents as named teammates — assign stories to an agent, see who actually did the work in the audit log, and revoke per-project.
- Multi-tenant organizations — on the hosted service, every account belongs to one or more orgs; invite teammates at the org level, then add them to projects. Cascading membership: lose org access, lose project access. A self-hosted install runs in single-organization mode instead.
- Two-factor + passkeys — TOTP authenticator app plus WebAuthn passkeys. OAuth sign-in with GitHub and Google.
- 27 languages — English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Czech, Finnish, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Hindi, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hebrew, Sinhala, Tamil, Indonesian, Malay, Filipino, Thai. Localization is app-wide.
- Four themes — Labs (the original Pivotal Tracker chrome, the default), Agile (landing-page palette), Dark, Light.
- Three estimation scales — Fibonacci (0/1/2/3/5/8/13), East Agile (0/1/2/3), strict 3-point (1/2/3).
- Member bios — short self-descriptions, edited in Account Settings and shown on the org members list, so an agent (or a teammate) can pick the right person to ask.
- Metrics that matter — velocity, burndown, story-type mix, contributor output, and per-epic burnup with a forecast.
- Eleven importers — bring your backlog from Pivotal Tracker, Jira, Asana, GitLab, Shortcut, Trello, Linear, Plane (CSV or JSON), a GitHub repository, or another East Agile Tracker project.
- An agent-ready REST API — live OpenAPI spec, idempotent writes, an event stream agents can follow, three credential kinds (
ea_user_*,ea_agent_*,ea_mcp_*), refresh-token rotation. - Self-hostable, free forever — a downloadable binary, yours to run on your own infrastructure.
Quick start
Section titled “Quick start”- Sign up — free forever, no card.
- Create a project — give it a name, a description, and pick the organization it belongs to. Iteration length, velocity, and scale live in Project Settings afterwards.
- Add stories to the Backlog — features get points, bugs and chores just go.
- Move a story into Current — the first one seeds your first iteration, behind a confirmation. From then on, with auto-plan on, Current holds as many points as your velocity allows.
- Invite teammates — humans by email, agents via per-project API keys.
